Trading Ages
Trading Ages provides participants a unique perspective on aging.
The growth of the older adult population is impacting communities and families. It is also transforming the way organizations conduct business and deliver services. This growth presents a unique challenge to understanding the needs, experiences and perspectives of older adults. In each Trading Ages workshop, participants experience, firsthand, age-related conditions such as hearing loss, vision changes, and more through role-play or simulations. Through these simulations and education, participants actively encounter the physical, social and emotional aspects of aging.
Trading Ages is available to organizations, senior centers, government agencies, universities, and other entities who work with older adults. The workshop is available at and offered virtually in the following counties with in-person options available in select locations* (counties marked with an asterisk indicate in-person classes are available):
