As a part of our mission to keep older adults healthy and independent, Independence at Home (IAH) offers a wide range of community education programs and activities to older adults and their caregivers. These programs are specifically designed to provide the tools to encourage healthy aging and healthy lifestyles. Through lectures, workshops, health promotion resources, evidence based programming and more, we connect directly with community members to promote health awareness and helpful resources – all at no cost! Our lectures, workshops and courses cover an array of health-related, social and technology topics that matter most to the older adults and caregivers we serve. Our educational programs are offered at no cost to the community in person, via Zoom and telephone. Classes can be delivered in English and Spanish. A sampling of topics includes:

Our education and community activities are available to nonprofit organizations, senior centers, government agencies, and other entities that serve older adults.
